Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' needs to customize therapy plans aimed at achieving their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply evidence-based methods to bolster patients' cognitive abilities, motor skills, and everyday living activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work harmoniously with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver integrative, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Empower patients and their families with knowledge of therapeutic techniques to encourage continuous progress outside of therapy
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients advancing towards their goals

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized program
• Encouragement for continuing education and relevant post-graduate certifications

Licensure

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
