HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a  Human Resources Generalist for a large manufacturing facility based in  Smyrna, GA . In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute across all areas of Human Resources, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR operations, while supporting a well-established global organization. 

Pay Rate
$29.15 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Human Resources Generalist Duties and Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, background checks, and new hire orientation.

• Process employee transactions and maintain HR records, including new hires, promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions, terminations, and HRIS updates.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, leave administration, and employment-related matters.

• Assist with employee relations initiatives, including FMLA administration, performance management, employee recognition programs, and exit interviews.

• Provide administrative support to the HR department by maintaining personnel files, badge access systems, departmental records, and confidential documentation.

Human Resources Generalist Qualifications  and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; 3+ years of related HR experience.

• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, and ERISA.

• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.

• Valid Driver's License required; PHR certification preferred.
