Accounts Payable Assistant – Temporary

Location: Converse, TX Pay Rate: $20.00–$22.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Assignment Duration: Approximately 1 month Start Date: ASAP

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Assistant for a short-term temporary assignment in Converse, TX. The ideal candidate will have previous accounts payable experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to process invoices and maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, enter, and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Verify invoice details, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with preparing and processing payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounts payable records and documentation.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice or payment inquiries.
• Provide general administrative support related to accounts payable functions.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Must be available for the full temporary assignment.
