TIG Welder (Stainless Steel)Location: East side of OrlandoPay: $22-26 (Based on Experience)Shift: 1st Monday - Thursday 4 10hr shiftsJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join a growing fabrication team. This position focuses on precision TIG welding of stainless steel sheet metal and piping used in custom fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working from blueprints, performing high-quality welds on thin-gauge stainless steel, and operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG welding on stainless steel sheet metal and pipingWeld various stainless materials including 12 and 14-gauge sheet metalUse gas purge techniques when required to ensure weld qualityRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsSet up welding equipment and prepare materials for fabricationMeasure and inspect components to ensure quality and tolerances are metGrind, finish, and contour welds as neededAssist with troubleshooting and process improvement initiativesComplete routine preventative maintenance on welding equipmentQualificationsRequired:Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experienceExperience welding stainless steelAbility to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawingsExperience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squaresAbility to work independently and maintain quality standardsPreferred:Fabrication experienceSheet metal experienceExperience welding stainless steel pipeKnowledge of gas purge welding techniquesPrevious experience in a custom manufacturing or fabrication environmentJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oviedo, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
