F&I ContractorOur company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced F&I Contractor. The F&I Contractor is responsible for selling financial products and services to clients at the dealership. F&I contractors also work with financial lenders to give fair interest rates to buyers and are also required to uphold strict legal and ethical standards while conducting business.Job ResponsibilitiesContracts all new businessCloses potential clients, taking turns by personal contact or by phoneAddresses bounced contracts, processing them in a timely mannerGenerates finance income on all sold clients, taking turns by personal contact or by phoneChecks and verifies ("washes") paperwork involved with the cash, finance or loan transactionsContracts or collects all money at closingSeeks bank approval on all financed and leased dealsMaintains a working knowledge or leases, "balloons", etcPromotes Credit Life/Accident & Health salesCollaborates with other departments in a professional and courteous mannerFills out F & I profit sheetAssists in acquiring approval from lendersAssists in the training of Sales ConsultantsUnderstands all current programs and rate options offered by our lendersVerifies insurance and completes paperworkHandles all cancellations for extended warranties and credit life cancellationsMaintains the sale log for F&IUnderstands and implements the dealership sales processAttends weekly department meetingsEducation/ ExperienceExperience, education and training a PLUSCertificates, Licenses and Registrations (Including Driver's License)Operator's Driver's License (must insurable); State Insurance License.Physical DemandsProlonged periods of sitting at t desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Benefits include medical, vision, dental, supplemental insurance, 401K retirement savings, paid time off, holiday pay, and company-paid continuing education and training.About UsThe DeMontrond Automotive Group was established in Houston in 1953, but dates to 1914 with the first Buick franchise in Texas.
