Role Description The Real Estate Assistant is a part-time, on-site role based in Chico, CA. This position supports day-to-day office operations, including managing phone and email inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records and transaction files. The assistant helps prepare listing and marketing materials, updates property information across platforms, and coordinates showings and open houses. Additional responsibilities include data entry, document organization, basic bookkeeping support, and providing courteous, timely customer service to clients, vendors, and team members. The role works closely with real estate professionals to ensure smooth workflows and consistent communication throughout the sales process. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and professional phone and email etiquette. Candidates should possess Real Estate knowledge or interest, with familiarity in property listings, transaction processes, and local market practices preferred. Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance capabilities, such as scheduling, data entry, document management, and basic office software proficiency. Candidates should possess Customer Service experience, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining a positive client experience. Candidates should possess Organization Skills, including attention to detail, time management, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in a real estate or professional office environment, comfort with CRM or real estate platforms (e.g., MLS), and a valid driver’s license for occasional local errands.
