Greenwood, SC, US 8 days ago Requisition ID: 1125 ES Foundry Corp Finance Controller Job Summary The Financial Controller is responsible for leading the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end close while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. This position plays a critical leadership role within a manufacturing environment by partnering with operations, supply chain, procurement, engineering, and executive leadership to improve financial performance, strengthen controls, and support strategic decision-making. The Controller will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, manage the accounting team, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely reporting while driving continuous process improvements and ERP optimization. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Manage month-end and year-end close processes. Coordinate internal and external audits. Budgeting & Financial Planning Lead annual budgeting and forecasting. Perform variance analysis and financial modeling. Monitor cash flow and liquidity. Maintain internal controls and compliance. Assess financial risks and implement mitigation plans. Lead and develop accounting staff. Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA preferred. 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience including leadership experience. Manufacturing experience preferred. ERP systems and advanced Excel proficiency. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
