Senior Analyst, Planning

Responsibilities Seeking a Senior Planner in our Valencia location to plan materials for production flow lines in line with MRP system requirements and ensure appropriate and effective levels of available on‑hand inventory. Reporting to the Department Manager, this role is an integral part of a larger dedicated planning team where collaboration is required to ensure targets are met and procedures are followed. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic and challenging environment, ensures continuous improvement, adds value, and collaborates with various company disciplines to achieve on‑time delivery and cost requirements. Promote work orders from the MRP system to ensure timely release and completion of components in line with production planning requirements Review and process required MRP exception messages Maintain schedule, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path issues and network logic conflicts Implement and maintain Kanban processes Collaborate with Program Management and Contracts to understand demand forecast drivers Provide input in developing departmental strategies for inventory on existing items, new product introductions and phase‑outs Perform related inventory transactions into the ERP system Work with demand forecasting, incorporating current and accurate information Execute excellence around stock and demand replenishment, providing feedback to the supply chain on risks regarding replenishment levels and demand Plan and manage material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production Monitor, analyze, and report performance against baseline schedules to ensure contractual cost and schedule objectives are met Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is a plus HS Diploma or GED required Minimum of 8 years of directly related experience in a planning/scheduling role within a manufacturing environment Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail MRP experience is required Intermediate level of Microsoft Office competencies Experience in statistical reporting, forecasting, and understanding of financial and operational impacts of forecasting Strong communication and organizational skills Problem‑solving under constraints Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross‑functional teams Participate in production meetings, reporting on status and any issues Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Aerospace experience APICS certification Equal Opportunity Statement Triumph Group and all its divisions and subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employers.
