We are driven by a profound commitment to prioritize your well-being so you can provide exceptional care to others How you'll contribute A Nurse Extern who excels in this role: Direct patient care under the direction, delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to supervising RN. Maintains positive professional relationship with patient/ families, coworkers, and health care team. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. What we're looking for Minimum education Must be currently enrolled in an approved school of nursing and be a third year student or higher and graduate within 13 months of hire Candidates must be in good standing with the approved school of nursing and clinically competent to perform these acts.
