Chief, Minimally Invasive GI Surgery | Academic Leader

SAGES

The Heersink School of Medicine, Department of Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham invites applications for a full-time Attending Surgeon (open rank). The position leads the Section of Minimally Invasive Surgery with clinical, educational, and research duties.

The successful candidate will oversee MIS clinical operations, advance faculty development, and contribute to a high-volume robotics program and MBSAQIP‑accredited bariatric surgery. Equal opportunity employer.
