Job Description

Position Summary Senior-level position operating standard or high-speed industrial sewing

machines to perform the full range of operations in the manufacture of cadet uniform

components, with the experience to work with minimal oversight.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Operate standard or high-speed sewing machines

across the full range of operations per FWS Job Grading Standard 3111 - Perform complex sewing

operations requiring advanced skill and judgment - Serve as a technical resource for lower-

graded operators - Ensure production quality meets program and Army standards - Comply

with all site safety, security, and HSE requirements

Minimum Qualifications - Extensive sewing machine operation experience across multiple

techniques and machine types - Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to train and

direct other staff - Must pass background check, medical screening, and any required

installation-access vetting - Must be at least 18 years of age - Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise

legally eligible to work on a U.S. Government installation

Physical Demands - Ability to sit/stand for extended periods while operating machinery -

Manual dexterity for precision sewing tasks

Work Environment - Indoor manufacturing/production environment
