Our client, in Chesterfield, MI is seeking Dietary Aides/Cook to join their team. As a Dietary Aide, you will be part of the Culinary Team.
Location: Chesterfield MI
Pay Range: $16.58-19.58 per hour 1st shift Position
The Dietary Aide works under the supervision of the Culinary Manager. The Dietary Aide must have skills in food preparation, production control, inventory control, kitchen safety, sanitation, equipment use and cleaning/sanitizing, food safety, recipe adherence, therapeutic diets, and modified textured foods and liquids. The Dietary Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area and assisting dietary cooks as necessary. Responsible for all general sanitation and cleaning including, but not limited to sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and taking out trash.
- Serve food
- Clean up before and after
- Maintain kitchen and food safety
- Assist with some food preparation (light)
The Dietary Aide must have:
- 1 year of food service experience
- 2 years customer service experience
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Able to speak, read and write English to effectively communicate with others
- Background in safety and sanitation compliance
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- ServSafe or Food Handler Certification preferred
