SAP BTP Work zone Advanced Edition - SAP Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management (EPPM)

Role Description

The SAP EPPM Functional Consultant will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) responsible for functional design, configuration, production support, and continuous enhancement of SAP Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management (EPPM) capabilities. The consultant will collaborate with business and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions and support the AI-led SDLC operating model.

Role Expectations

• Gather and document business requirements from Business stakeholders
• Prepare:
  • Functional Design Documents (FDD)
  • Business Process Procedures (BPPs)
  • Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
• Configure and test enhancements across:
  • WBS structures
  • Networks
  • Milestones
  • Cost Planning
  • Funding Management
• Support:
  • Portfolio Management
  • Resource Management
  • Project Financials capabilities
• Collaborate with RAP/CAP/UI5 technical teams on BTP-based custom development
• Support Capital Funding workflows, approval processes, and budget controls
• Manage PS–FI integration for cost settlement, asset capitalization, and WBS-based financial reporting

Qualifications

• Expert - SAP PS (Project System) — WBS, Networks, Milestones
• Advanced - SAP PPM (Portfolio & Project Management)
• Intermediate–Advanced - SAP CPM (Commercial Project Management)
• Expert - PS–FI/CO Integration (Cost Settlement, Asset Capitalization)
• Advanced - Capital Funding & Approval Workflows
• Advanced - SAP S/4HANA EPPM (Private Edition or Cloud)
• Expert - Functional Design Documentation (FDD, BPP, RTM)
• Expert - Requirements gathering & fit-to-standard workshops

Requirements

• Familiarity with SAP BTP (BAS, Integration Suite, Workflow)
• Exposure to UI5 / Fiori for EPPM-related applications
• Understanding of SAP DMS / ECM document management

Domain Experience

• Energy, Utilities, or Capital Projects industry background strongly preferred
• Experience with Data Center or Infrastructure project management a plus
