Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 0–5 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the lead attorney across all phases of litigation while carrying a full associate-style workload—managing your own tasks, deadlines, and case responsibilities with the guidance and mentorship of an experienced managing partner. The position focuses primarily on auto accident cases, with exposure to broader personal injury and medical malpractice matters. Whether you're a recent graduate or an attorney with a few years under your belt, this is an excellent opportunity to build real litigation experience in a supportive, boutique environment. Key Responsibilities Support the lead attorney in handling auto accident cases from intake through settlement or trial. Carry an associate-style workload, independently managing assigned tasks, files, and deadlines. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, demand letters, and legal memoranda. Review and analyze medical records, accident reports, police reports, and other case documentation. Communicate with clients, witnesses, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel with professionalism and empathy. Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials. Ensure compliance with New Mexico statutes of limitations and court rules. Assist with case strategy and trial preparation. Qualifications ·Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school. Active license to practice law in New Mexico, or eligibility and willingness to obtain New Mexico licensure (admission required within a defined period of hire). 2–5 years of experience; recent graduates and developing attorneys are encouraged to apply. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines within an associate-style workload. A genuine commitment to advocating for injured clients and families. Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish); experience or coursework in personal injury, auto accident litigation, or plaintiff-side work. What We Offer
