Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary Seeking a motivated and client-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing independent insurance agency. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through responsive and proactive service. Conduct annual coverage reviews and provide strategic insurance guidance. Communicate with clients throughout the policy term to address evolving insurance needs. Develop renewal strategies in advance of policy expiration. Gather underwriting information and coordinate with carriers and producers during the renewal process. Present renewal options and coverage recommendations to clients. Ensure renewals are completed accurately and within established timelines. Identify potential coverage gaps and review contracts for insurance requirements. Assist clients with inspection recommendations and advocate on their behalf with insurance carriers. Support clients in making informed insurance decisions. Identify cross‑selling opportunities to expand client relationships. Promote client retention through exceptional service and account management. Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier underwriters to support account growth. Qualifications Experience working in a commercial insurance agency environment. Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of client service. Compensation Salary Range: $65,000 – $90,000 annually, depending on experience. Opportunities for professional growth and development.
