About Us: Hitek Limb & Brace is experiencing growth and is excited to add a dedicated, reliable, and positive individual to our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and Specialist to join our front office team as a Patient Service Representative.

: The Patient Service Representative will be responsible for various administrative tasks in our for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with scheduling appointments and processing insurance verifications.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and communicate patients' financial responsibilities.
• Gather all required medical documentation for claim submissions.
• Maintain knowledge of commercial, government, Missouri Medicaid, Medicare, and Work Comp programs.
• Operate a personal computer and utilize patient account software effectively.
• Ensure confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with Federal, State, and HIPAA regulations.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with patients and team members, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of medical terminology and office practices.
• Minimum of two years of medical office experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficiency in operating a personal computer; experience with patient account software is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and understand Federal, State, and HIPAA rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with clients and team members.
