Senior Systems Administrator

Our client is searching for a Systems Administrator for a temp-to-perm position in the Houston, TX area.
This position will be on site.
Description:
The IT System Administrator will maintain, support, and optimize the organization's IT, software, and network systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and maintain software and network systems.
* Monitor and maintain systems running on servers to ensure optimal performance.
* Implement and maintain IT security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and patch management.
* Assist in deploying and supporting enterprise applications and cloud services.
* Monitor system performance and perform routine backups to ensure data integrity.
* Write and maintain scripts or programs to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
* Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
* Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to IT systems.
Pay will be based on experience and a drug background check is required.
*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
