Marketing and Sales Manager

Job Description This position leads Chamber Music Maryland’s marketing, audience development, and ticket sales functions. Responsibilities Marketing, Sales & Audience Development Plan and carry out marketing for subscriptions and single tickets, including print and digital ads, season materials, and audience surveys. Plan, write, and manage content and collateral materials for social media, the CMM website, and other public-facing channels. Manage email marketing campaigns and support direct-mail initiatives. Oversee social, print, and search advertising within the approved marketing budget. Produce and distribute press releases and manage media relationships. Produce concert program books and the annual season brochure. Work with partner organizations on co-promotion, and help spot group-sales and audience development opportunities. Track and report marketing and sales performance across channels; report to the Board at scheduled meetings. Manage and mentor marketing and social-media interns. Grant Writing & Submission Support the Director of Development in grant preparation: drafting or editing narrative sections, gathering materials, and helping keep submissions moving. Help with appeal e-blasts, campaign collateral, and supporting web content at the direction of the Director of Development. Schedule. The employee sets their own working schedule, subject to attendance at scheduled meetings, Board meetings at which a marketing report is due, and CMM concerts as agreed in advance each season. Evening and weekend availability around concert dates is expected during the concert season October-May. Location. Work is performed remotely, with in-person presence at concerts and meetings as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
