Schedule : Monday - Friday: Flexible Between 8:00am-6:00pm (Full-Time)

The Intake & Authorizations (I&A) Supervisor oversees the I&A team across all assigned regions. This role involves managing authorized client hours, maintaining accurate records, resolving conflicts, providing constructive and timely feedback, and improving processes to ensure timely service delivery and operational efficiency. Responsibilities

• Ensure all intakes are processed completely and quickly, in line with departmental goals
• Ensure all assessments, progress reports, and termination reports are submitted on time
• Ensure all authorizations and client data are entered into practice management system accurately
• Identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
• Maintain accurate, complete, and HIPAA compliant client charts
• Leverage interdepartmental data to strategically accept cases and calculate projection of hours needed
• Assess, update, and create workflows and processes
• Evaluate team member performance and deliver feedback formally and informally
• Train team members on new or updated processes
• Provide ongoing training pertaining to all job-related skills
• Work closely and collaboratively with departments including Billing, Scheduling, and Clinical
• Accurately synthesize and represent the needs of the I&A department
• Create and manage project plans, progress, and timelines
• Identify, cover and/or plan for any gaps in department workflow due to absences
• Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned

• Minimum of three years experience in high-volume authorizations
• Experience processing MediCal-funded and commercial insurance authorizations
• Experience in managing a team of three or more individuals
• Experience interfacing with funding sources and client/patient families on the phone and in person
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks/responsibilities
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of ABA therapy a plus
