Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager

Silvus Technologies, a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor who will report to the Senior Accounting Manager on the Finance team. The AR Supervisor will lead the full AR cycle—including invoicing, collections and reserves—while providing oversight of AP inquiries and vendor communication. The role supervises the AR team and supports month‑end close. The position is based at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in West Los Angeles, CA, on a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days onsite per week). Responsibilities Oversee the full‑cycle AR process from order release to receipt. Monitor AR reports to ensure accuracy of accounts receivable and proactive collection efforts. Oversee AP inquiries and streamline communication with vendors and internal teams. Supervise, train, and mentor junior AR staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth. Maintain financial procedures and controls throughout the department with multiple direct reports. Oversee the accounting process for accounts receivable, client collections and associated reserves. Supervise accounts payable reporting processes to ensure accurate disbursements. Manage monthly close activities, including journal entry and account reconciliation review, to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the Accounts Receivable and Payable accounts. Engage in ad‑hoc reporting to assist management in the decision‑making process. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years of AR experience. At least 1 year of supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Resourceful, with the ability to devise creative solutions to problems. Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts. All employment contingent upon successful background check and drug test. Preferred Qualifications Current CPA license. Experience with Oracle and Tableau. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Office environment. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
