Responsibilities As an ER Travel Nurse, you will work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions. RNs should have experience and skill caring for patients in a fast-paced, urgent and emergency environment. Evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions Perform minor medical operations and advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries Plan long-term care needs; document medical history and patient allergies Obtain patient vital signs and monitor patients\' emotional and physical well-being Responsibilities (specific tasks) Provide basic bedside care Clean and bandage wounds Provide IV therapy Maintain supplies and medical equipment Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies Qualifications & Requirements Requirements: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, 2 years of experience * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
