Position Summary The Human Resources Generalist serves as a trusted HR partner for the Pulsafeeder business, providing comprehensive support across talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, leave management, and HR operations. This role partners closely with leaders and employees to foster a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Essential Functions Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Leads full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions, including intake meetings, job postings, sourcing, interviewing, offer development, and onboarding coordination Administers the onboarding of new employees, including ensuring orientation presentations are updated, 90-day onboarding plans are created with Dept Leaders, etc Reports talent acquisition metrics to the HR Manager and recommends process improvements HR Administration Assists with annual Performance Management process and Salary Planning processes, as assigned Maintains employee data in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and processing workflows and employee data changes accurately and timely Serves as the process owner for employee separations, including responding to unemployment claims as required Training & Development Supports HR training and development initiatives as needed Facilitates annual corporate trainings as needed Payroll Serves as the primary administrator for payroll processing within HR, working with Corporate Payroll as needed Resolves employee pay issues Employee Relations Partners with the HR Manager during employee relations investigations Supports HR Manager with Union relations activities Participates in initiatives tied to succession planning and talent acceleration as needed Benefits Administration Serves as the process owner for leave of absence administration across the organization Serves as a resource for employee benefits inquiries, partnering with the HR Manager and Corporate Benefits Team Updates HRIS and timesheets (where applicable) accurately Safety Support site safety initiative and compliance activities Partner with EHS on injury reporting, workers' compensation claims, and return-to-work programs Reporting Maintain, prepare, and audit reports including headcount, turnover, diversity and other key metrics, as required Partners with the HR Team to support the annual engagement survey, analyze results, and develop action plans Miscellaneous Maintains a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee and organizational information Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law Maintain employee files in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements. Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred PHR/SHRM-CP Certification preferred Experience 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience required, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment 2 years’ minimum experience with recruiting exempt and non-exempt roles required Experience with processing employee leave of absences required Competencies Ability to effectively communicate, deliver on promises, and drive collaboration with employees at all levels of the organization Ability to partner with leadership on creating a culture of inclusion and teamwork Builds trust and credibility with employees and leaders through professionalism, responsiveness, and sound judgment Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and exercises sound judgment. Organized, detailed, and excellent at managing resources, data, and time Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions while appropriately escalating issues Proficient with Workday or similar HRIS system; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) Physical Environment and Environmental Factors Office Environment This position is fully onsite, with a requirement to work from the Punta Gorda office five (5) days per week. This position operates in a manufacturing office setting and involves regular use of standard office equipment. The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing computer-based tasks. The employee will occasionally move about the office or nearby production areas to access equipment, attend meetings, or communicate with team members. The individual must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and external parties in person, over the phone, and through digital platforms. Total Rewards The compensation range for this position is $54,200.00 - $81,400.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
