About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance & Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will be a hands-on finance leader with a strong background in accounting operations, financial reporting, and team development. Key responsibilities for this role include leading the accounting team in general ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, and the close process, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and enhancing accounting policies and controls. The VP will also be responsible for the company's financial model, budgeting, and long-range planning, as well as partnering with business leaders on financial matters and providing the executive team with financial analysis to support decision-making. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 10-15 years' of experience in accounting, controllership, and FP&A, and a CPA certification. Experience in a high-growth, private equity-backed environment is essential, as is a strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and the full accounting cycle. The role requires advanced skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as experience in M&A, technical accounting, and partnership tax. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and developing finance and accounting teams, be adept at using technology and automation tools, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. A hands-on, collaborative leadership style is a must, with the ability to balance strategic planning and detailed execution.
