The Talent Advisor contributes to the achievement of client expected outcomes through supporting key client stakeholders with the delivery of talent acquisition projects and continuous improvement activities. Building trusted advisor relationships with the client’s business leaders, providing data led insights to support the client achieving their strategic talent acquisition outcomes. Working closely with the client’s business to understand hiring demand and demand drivers and working with AMS internal centres of expertise to translate these demands into actionable hiring plans. Ability to work onsite in Stamford, CT three days per week. Salary range (USD): $78,000 - $103,000 Key Accountabilities What you’ll do: Building trusted advisor relationships and onsite engagement with business unit leaders which may include hiring managers with high volume needs (e.g. contact centre leads or volume needs that affect the clients’ strategic outcomes). Contribute to a range of client specified projects that support the delivery of both the clients’ desired outcomes and the strategic account plan. These might include process mapping, hiring manager capability programmes, assessment centre facilitation, demand planning and forecasting, DEI programmes. Deliver a communications program to stakeholder communities, anticipated to include quarterly insight‑led reviews, sharing market and service insights to influence talent strategy and operational decision making. Work with senior stakeholders to understand the demand plan, communicating data‑led insights and supporting the client’s demand planning, highlighting any misalignment to live hiring requirements. Ensuring the fulfilment of the demand plan for their assigned business units, giving regular updates on progress of delivery and any factors that are influencing our delivery of the service. Conduct activities that contribute to projects supporting the continuous improvement of talent acquisition services including managing a two‑way communication channel in relation to technology/AMS service improvements & upgrades. Identify and flag business development opportunities or opportunities to enhance scope of service to the AMS account leadership team. Skills & Requirements What you need to have to be successful: Proven experience working toward and meeting demanding targets and deadlines within a fast‑paced, client‑driven environment. 360 recruitment experience within the financial services or banking industry is highly preferred. Hands‑on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), including candidate management, reporting, and troubleshooting. Solid experience conducting candidate screening and interviews across multiple role types. Comfortable supporting a blended role split of approximately 75% Talent Acquisition and 25% HR support. Exposure to general HR activities would be highly desirable. Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to build trusted partnerships, manage expectations, influence hiring decisions at multiple levels and communicate confidently with business leaders and hiring managers. Demonstrated ability to manage candidates throughout the full end‑to‑end recruitment cycle, including high‑volume recruitment and activities such as selection days or assessment centres. Ability to act as a Talent Advisor / TA Consultant, providing guidance, market insight and process support rather than only delivering transactional recruitment activity. Experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including vacancy intake, candidate pipeline follow‑up, ATS management, interview coordination, feedback follow‑up and offer process support. Strong communication skills, consistency, responsiveness and attention to detail. Ability to manage approximately +15 roles simultaneously, while prioritising effectively and providing regular updates to stakeholders. Understanding of employment legislation relevant to recruitment activities (e.g., non‑discrimination, contractor compliance, and other regulatory considerations). Why AMS? For this role, the initial expected remuneration for US is $78,000 - $103,000 USD plus applicable benefits.
