Talent Acquisition Specialist

SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Specialist manages full cycle recruitment for assigned roles across multiple departments, with a strong focus on technical and operational positions within an aerospace repair and shop-based environment. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR to attract and hire qualified talent while ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, operational setting.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the full cycle recruitment process for assigned requisitions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and candidate communication.Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand role requirements and support hiring needs.Execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and other recruiting channels to build strong candidate pipelines.Leverage emerging recruiting technologies, including AI-enabled sourcing and screening tools, to enhance candidate enhance candidate outreach, engagement, and overall recruiting effectiveness.Maintain accurate candidate records and status updates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and support offer processes to ensure a smooth candidate experience.Provide timely, organized, and professional communication with candidates and hiring teams throughout the recruitment process.Partner with onboarding teams to support a seamless transition for new hires.Assist with job postings, advertisement processes, and sourcing activities.Manage a moderate to high volume of requisitions while maintaining strong candidate engagement and close partnership with hiring managers in a fast-paced, operational environment.Support recruitment reporting and administrative activities as needed.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.OR an additional 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.4+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience in a corporate, agency, or operational environment.Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).Strong candidate engagement and sourcing skills.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, or skilled trade roles within manufacturing, aerospace, MRO, or industrial environments.Prior experience working in a recruiting agency or high-volume staffing environment.Exposure to AI-enabled sourcing tools or other advanced recruiting technologies.Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed operations.OTHER:The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.VSE is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, Protected Veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
