Description Our client, a growing manufacturer of specialty adhesive materials, is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to join its team in Hayward, California. This role is focused on driving top-of-funnel growth by prospecting new manufacturing customers, qualifying inbound leads, and re-engaging dormant CRM opportunities. This is an ideal opportunity for a true hunter who enjoys opening doors, building relationships with engineering, purchasing, and supply chain professionals, and creating a strong pipeline for the outside sales team—without the extensive travel typically associated with outside sales. Working closely with the Engineering and Sales teams, you’ll identify customer needs, qualify opportunities, and transition them for technical development and closing. Responsibilities Prospect new manufacturing customers through phone, email, LinkedIn, and account research Qualify inbound leads from marketing, trade shows, and website inquiries Re-engage inactive CRM leads and uncover new opportunities Build relationships with engineering, purchasing, sourcing, and supply chain professionals Research target accounts across North America Prepare qualified opportunities for handoff to the outside sales team Maintain CRM activity and pipeline documentation Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams Meet or exceed lead generation and pipeline goals Senior Business Development Executive (Technical Manufacturing Sales req.)
