Overview PACU Holding — Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN travel position in Rochester, NY. Start date 07/20/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay range $1,880–$1,995. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, Monday–Friday. Setting: hospital; unit focuses on fully recovered post-operative patients awaiting disposition, including ortho, neuro, GYN and general surgery, with medical-surgical and telemetry needs. Epic experience is required; BLS is required; ACLS and NIHSS are listed as additional certifications. Key Highlights

Telemetry; floating to Med-Surg as needed; orientation provided Responsibilities - Provide direct RN care for adults and geriatrics in the post-operative holding area with telemetry monitoring - Monitor cardiac rhythm, interpret telemetry, and respond to dysrhythmias per protocol - Establish and maintain IV access, start/maintain IV therapies, and manage heparin protocols as indicated - Administer medications, provide oxygen therapy, and assist airway management as needed - Document patient status and care in Epic; coordinate with PCT and interdisciplinary team (PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Work); participate in Rapid Response as required - Support disposition decisions, including discharge planning or transfer to an inpatient bed Requirements

• NY RN license in-hand to submit
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (post-op/PACU experience preferred)
• Epic experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• ACLS and NIHSS listed as additional certifications; not explicitly required
• Ability to work in a PACU Extended Stay / Post-op holding unit and float to
