The successful candidate will join the Caterpillar IT GCIO DT&D organization as a key contributor responsible for facilitating the operations of an Agile framework with 1-3 teams while embracing the principles of the framework and the Agile Mindset in support of the new modern, cloud-based Global Warranty Management solution. You will help teams reach their highest performance level in the execution of workstreams. This role will provide expertise, leadership, mentorship, coaching, consulting, training, and/or facilitation in support of Business Agility across the enterprise. Be part of a transformational program that streamlines dealer and business partner processes, accelerates and increases transparency in warranty experiences, and delivers actionable insights that drive product quality improvements and long-term profitability. You will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic change as we transition legacy systems to modern, cloud-based solutions via Agile software development. What You Will Do: • Planning, scheduling, and facilitating Agile events. Fostering an environment of self-organization, high visibility, ownership, and continuous improvement with the team • Coaching the Agile team into an understanding of the values, artifacts, and objectives of the operating framework with a lean mindset • Working with the product owner/service request manager and stakeholders to ensure value is always being generated by the team's work. • Becoming a champion of removing blockers and impediments to the teams’ progress, while facilitating the reduction of decision latency with clear and constant communication and attention. Helping the team to capture and aggregate data is useful to the team's development, as well as providing management information that will inform strategic decisions. Software Problem Management: Knowledge of strategies, practices and tools for resolving software problems; ability to manage software problems with installed software products. Level Working Knowledge: • Documents resolution progress and provide feedback to customers. • Describes issues and consideration for resolving problems involving other products or vendors. • Works with tracking and resolving common types of problems for a product or product group. • Describes actions, tools, and procedures for problem reporting, solving, and resolution. • Cites examples of unusual problems; follows proper notifications and escalation procedures. Software Product Business Knowledge: Knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.
