Job Title : Scientist II
Location : South San Franisco, CA 94080
Schedule : M-F 9am-5pm
Duration : 1 year contract w/ a possible extension
Interview Process : 1. phone screen 2. in person panel SKILLS
** Strong experience with mammalian cell culture techniques and maintaining high-quality cell lines.
** Hands-on expertise in CRISPR genome editing, including gene editing design, execution, and optimization.
** Expertise in engineering and profiling cancer cell lines, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and primary cells.
** Strong background in molecular biology techniques including DNA/RNA/protein extraction, molecular cloning, PCR, RT-PCR, and ddPCR.
** Experience with cell characterization methods such as flow cytometry (FACS), cell-based assays, genomics assays, and NGS technologies.
** Familiarity with protein analysis techniques including SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting (Western blot).
** Proficiency with scientific data analysis and visualization tools such as Benchling, SnapGene, FlowJo, and GraphPad Prism.
** BS/MS with 5+ years of industry experience or a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, or a related discipline. #TechRV
