Advanced Practice Provider (PA or APRN) - Critical Care Unit

AdventHealth Redmond is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (PA or APRN) to join our dynamic Critical Care Unit team. Position Overview: As an APP in our Critical Care Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 7-on/7-off schedule, offering exceptional work-life balance. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure continuous coverage and optimal patient outcomes. This role involves managing a broad range of critical care cases and performing advanced procedures within your credentialed scope.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level patient care in the Critical Care Unit with remote supervision by an Intensivist.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to ensure seamless patient management and continuity of care.
• Perform advanced procedures such as chest tube placement, thoracentesis, needle thoracostomy, intubation, lumbar punctures, central and arterial line placement, and other procedures as credentialed.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and proficiency in managing complex critical care cases.

Qualifications:

• Current PA or APRN license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a PA or APRN in a hospital setting.
• Prior ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Provider strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform advanced medical procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
