NextGen Hospitality Solutions is seeking a Kitchen Manager for our vibrant Steakhouse in Rolla. This part-time, on-site position is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to begin their journey in restaurant management while working in a dynamic culinary environment.
As a Kitchen Manager, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and seamless service. You will play a critical role in maintaining kitchen standards, managing staff, and contributing to a positive dining experience. Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation
- Ensure consistency and quality in food production
- Supervise kitchen staff and assist in training new team members
- Maintain cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional service
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus, but not required
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and supplies
