Supply Chain Coordinator

Overview The Supply Coordinator is responsible for developing systems to support supply acquisition and inventory control for patient care units in The James Cancer Hospital. Serves as a liaison between the different departments regarding supplies and equipment. Helps maintain JCAHO standards in regard to the environment of care. Responsibilities Manage the supply and inventory process for in-patient care units. Track inventory and par levels to ensure availability and prevent overstock. Create cost-saving strategies and participate in brainstorming meetings with other managers. Maintain patient care equipment and monitor a clean patient care environment. Work Schedule Wednesday–Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Four 10-hour shifts per week) Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required and 1 year of experience in inventory management, supply chain, materials management, or a related healthcare support role. Demonstrated ability to manage inventory levels, maintain supplies and equipment, and work effectively with multiple departments. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills required.
