Process Engineer

Join our Miami, FL team as a Process Engineer to establish parameters, troubleshoot conditions, and drive precision cycle-time reductions on injection molding machines. We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Plastics) or 5+ years of precision injection molding experience, solid background in scientific molding (RJG preferred), expertise with engineering-grade materials, and hands-on root cause analysis skills. Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of basic and advanced engineering tasks. Measurements and Quality control essentials
• Must be capable and effective using measuring devices such as: Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges,
• Optical Comparator, Microscopes, Dial gauges, Bore Gauges, Pyrometers, Infrared camera.
• Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
• Visually inspect injection molding machine, including chillers, thermolators, dryers, and granulators to assess working
• Snags for maintenance as conditions and operational conditionsnecessary.
• Identifies parts rejection process with proper tools and schematics dimensions, blueprint, GD&T
• Responds to warning signals or intervention by plan personnel to evaluate and correct problems with injection molding machines.
• Initializes some repairs and adjustments to injection mold machine or contacts Maintenance Department with assessment of problem.
• Checks parameters and settings of machines, calibrates, adjust, or performs new auxiliary equipment process or molding machine processing parameter settings as needed.
• Directs / instructs, trains personnel in scientific molding process, operation of machines, machinery and equipment safety features as required.
