Project Manager – Pharmaceutical Capital Execution Lead

The Project Manager will lead project scopes within the SAR Program and be responsible for managing day-to-day project engineering execution for their workstream. Strong technical project management experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments, with the ability to coordinate design, construction, commissioning, qualification, validation, documentation, schedule, cost, risk, and stakeholder activities through project completion.

Responsibilities:

• Lead assigned project scopes from planning and detailed design through execution, commissioning, qualification, validation, and closeout.
• Facilitate design reviews and coordinate input from SMEs, A&E partners, CM groups, CQV/CSV resources, quality, operations, maintenance, EHS, and vendor teams.
• Manage daily project activities, resource coordination, deliverable completion, schedule alignment, risk identification, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure assigned workstreams comply with client procedures, SOPs, standards, templates, documentation expectations, GMP requirements, and applicable regulatory expectations.
• Track and communicate progress, risks, requirements, changes, and decisions to the Senior Project Manager, client project team, and key stakeholders.
• Support weekly and monthly reporting requirements, including daily timesheets, deliverables completed, cost, schedule, PCRs, issues, concerns, escalations, and progress documentation.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years managing pharmaceutical capital projects, with demonstrated knowledge of GMP environments, aseptic processing, cleanroom or controlled manufacturing spaces, design management, commissioning, qualification, validation, and project execution.
• EU Annex 1 remediation, sterile filtration, CCIT, HVAC, MAL/PAL, cleanroom classification changes, process improvements, or similar pharmaceutical manufacturing upgrade experience is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Hands-on project leaders with strong communication, accountability, documentation discipline, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex regulated manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable managing ambiguity, driving alignment among multiple stakeholders, identifying issues early, presenting practical options.
