HVAC Test Technician Intern

Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager HVAC Test Technician Intern .The HVAC Test Technician Intern will work in support of HVAC development programs, technician installs, tests, calibrates, and repairs electromechanical, and electronic measuring. This can also include supporting aspects of recording and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards. Location: Plymouth, MN - on-site What you will do: Perform laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures, test requirements, and the ISO 17025 standard Perform scheduled instrument verification checks and periodic facility maintenance Set up and operate complex laboratory equipment and instruments Identify and report nonconformities and abnormal testing conditions Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are upheld at all times Maintain a working knowledge of EH&S safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner Maintain effective communication with laboratory and project teams Obtain fork truck training/license, scissor lift training/license, or refrigerant handling certifications Perform test unit setup according to lab procedures and test request requirements Create records of testing activities and document them according to laboratory procedures What's in it for you: The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED In a Vocational or Technical Degree program 0-2 years of experience in HVAC Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position Preferred Qualifications: Fork truck training/license, Man lift training/license, Universal card, R410a card The typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $21.35 - $33.97 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
