Salary: $70000 - $75000 / year Job Summary The Events Coordinator will interact closely with clients, executives and administrative staff to ensure seamless planning and coordination of meetings, conferences and other events. Key Responsibilities Conferring with clients before, during and after their events, maintaining a positive relationship and responding to inquiries and requests in a timely manner. Ensure a seamless working relationship with all other service providers. Coordinating a wide range of services for meetings which have been booked, including Audio Visual requirements, food and beverage requests, conference room set‑ups, signage, distribution of materials, etc. Producing Event Resumes to document events and share detailed information with all involved departments. Oversee all onsite staff and activities: Room Setups Audio Visual Support Meeting & Event Coordination Participating in post‑conference/debrief feedback sessions with the client and relevant members of the operations staff, so as to obtain first‑hand comments on certain complex, critical and/or large‑scale events. Preferred Qualifications Four‑year college degree preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Two years of planning experience in hospitality industry. Proactive mindset to anticipate and support changes in our business. Keep abreast of industry trends and share information with staff. Exceptional customer service abilities.
