Lead Patient Admissions Coordinator

Assists the Patient Registration Supervisor in the day-to-day functions of the department on assigned shift. Assigns work, assists with schedules, reviews, trains employees including new hires, and observes and reports employee issues to Management. Oversees Emergency Department Registration, Inpatient Registration, Outpatient Registration, Financial Counseling, Cashier and Quality Control Representatives. Diploma or GED General ED California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire One (1) yearexperience in a Hospital Admitting/Registration or similar medical office experience. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree Three (3) years experience in hospital Admitting/Registration Department. One(1) year Supervisory Experience. Why Join Providence?
