As a Special Education Teacher, you will:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths, needs, and goals
• Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive support and consistent progress
• Foster positive relationships and create a structured, inclusive classroom environment
• Provide direct instruction, develop adaptive learning strategies, and assess student performance
• Support a range of grade levels, with placements across K-12th grade based on experience and preference
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all ethical and legal standards

Ideal candidates bring:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential (or eligibility)
• Demonstrated experience—or high motivation to succeed—in self-contained classrooms
• Commitment to meeting the diverse academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students
