About the Role
The Company is seeking a First Vice President, Operations Manager to take on a senior leadership role with a focus on overseeing the daily deposit, payment, and retail operations activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all processes are efficient, compliant, and client-focused. This includes managing a team, driving process improvements, and maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control narratives. The role also involves collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations, developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, and leading initiatives related to process improvement and digital transformation. Applicants must have 5-10 years' of direct experience in bank operations, with at least 3 years' in operations management and 2-4 years' of direct team management experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of banking operations, regulations, and compliance requirements, as well as excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Experience with core and online banking systems, project management, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as BSA/AML, KYC, FDIC, and FFIEC guidelines is essential. Certifications such as NCP, AAP, APRP, and/or APRP are a plus. The role requires a strong leader with an innovative mindset, an analytical thinker, and a proven track record in managing and mentoring a team.
