Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) is seeking an Interim Nurse Supervisor, Home Health for a W2 Contract position based in Fontana, CA. Schedule: Full time, 5 8's Days, with alternating on-call after hours and weekend coverage. Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks with high likelihood of extending. Compensation: Position qualifies OT, DT and On-Call. Hourly Rate: This position offers an hourly rate between $51.87 to $54.37 which equates to $2,074.80 to $2,174.80 per week (based on a 40-hour workweek - not including any OT, DT or On-Call hours). Per Diems: Lodging: $124 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day. Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,470 per week. Total Weekly Compensation (Hourly Rate based on a 40-hour work week + Per Diems) : Between $3,544.00 to $3,644.80 per week. Summary Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home health unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient resource management. This includes supervising staff, implementing best practices, and coordinating patient care delivery. Essential Functions Oversee the work of nurses and other healthcare professionals within the home health unit, including scheduling, performance management, and providing guidance and support. Ensuring that patient care is delivered according to established standards, protocols, and best practices, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Assist in the efficient allocation and utilization of resources, such as staffing, supplies, and equipment, within the home health unit. Facilitate the coordination of patient care activities, including admissions, discharges, and transfers, to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes. Maintain effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, departments, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and patient-centered care. Assist in the implementation and adherence to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations within the home health unit. Participate in the orientation and ongoing training of new staff members and ensure staff competency. Qualifications Active California Registered Nurse License. 3 years of clinical experience in home health or related area, with at least 1 year of experience functioning in a leadership capacity. Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and manage staff, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts. About Healthcare Executive Placements Inc.
