Operations Manager

Job Description Job Title : Operations Manager Location : 30505 DuPont Blvd, Millsboro DE 19966 Job Type : Full-time, In Person Salary Range : $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience Overview We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in running operations or dispatch, with a preference for those with moving experience. This role involves various duties such as daily huddles, dispatching when necessary, analyzing profit and loss statements, lowering labor and claims costs, managing schedules, overseeing inventory, and handling call-outs. Dispatch as needed to ensure efficient operation. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to lower labor and claims costs while maintaining quality. Manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage. Oversee inventory to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Handle call-outs and ensure proper coverage is maintained. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience running operations or dispatch. Preference for candidates with MOVING experience. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role, preferably in operations or logistics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory management software preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
