We harness innovative technology and exceptional talent to meet the complex needs of our clients in a fast-paced and dynamic legal landscape.We are looking for a Project Assistant to join the Finance & Restructuring Practice Group in our New York office.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate and supervise due diligence and quality control procedures on offering memorandum in connection with securities offerings.Liaise with investment banking teams, auditors and management in connection with gathering supporting materials.Create pitches and presentation materials to be used by practice groups for prospective matters, client engagement and business development efforts.Conceptualize, write, produce, and distribute client services communications, including internal client newsletters, fact sheets, financial profiles and client news to be used internally and externally to secure or support client mandates.Compile data from multiple systems, such as client and firm financials, relationship maps, 3rd party data providers, and internal/external communications to generate ad-hoc reports and dashboards.Monitor and track various industries, financial market dynamics, client news, and market trends and inform and educate the practice group teams.Prepare and maintain checklists and critical dates listsPrepare UCC Financing Statements and other filingsFollow established client and team guidelines for matter managementKeep accurate time recordsWork efficiently in a heavily technology -based environmentStrong, concise oral and written communication skillsAbility to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks under strict time constraintsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or higher requiredStrong communication skillsImpeccable research and analytical skillsAbility to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changesAbility to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards in a team environmentDemonstrates creativity, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skillsAbility to develop credibility with internal and external clientsExcellent attention to detailAbility to take initiative with all aspects of daily and special assignmentsProficiency with various software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional and othersOTHER:Able to work overtime, including weekends and holidays with little to no advance notice.The firm offers a generous total compensation package with bonuses and raises awarded in recognition of individual merit-based performance.
