Shop MechanicLocation: Southwest Oklahoma City Pay: $18-20/hourExpress Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of oilfield equipment in the Oklahoma City area. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping critical equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment safety and optimal performanceConduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifeTroubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including transmissions, pumps, and hydraulicsAccurately diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely mannerFollow all safety guidelines, company policies, and industry best practicesRequirements:Proven experience as a mechanic in the oil and gas industry or a related fieldStrong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and basic electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematicsExcellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailAbility to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
