Industrial Maintenance Technician IILocation: Knoxville, TN, USBringing Home the Dough Industrial Maintenance Technicians ensure optimal efficiency is achieved by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, with safety and quality standards being a top priority. They must possess a technical mindset and demonstrate strong mechanical capabilities, while being flexible and adaptable as they will be required to rotate job assignments throughout various areas of the bakery. Industrial Maintenance Technicians must have the aptitude and drive to seek and acquire on-going training due to ever evolving technological improvements and performance standards. Role requires the ability to climb fixed and portable ladders to a height of twenty (20) feet, the ability to stoop and bend while lifting weights up to fifty (50) pounds, and the ability to climb onto and under machinery, as required.Rising to the Challenge: Position ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, knowledge of support equipment, and thorough knowledge of critical equipment components and critical equipment operational sequencingDemonstrate knowledge of electrical welding, gas welding, cutting, soldering, pipe fittings, and metal fabrication (milling and lathe)Identify and inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic componentsRebuild mechanical drive components such as clutches, brakes, etc.Verify and correct mechanical timingPerform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipmentIdentify mechanical wear and identify, troubleshoot, and replace mechanical drive and conveyor componentsUse SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entryPractice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programsMaintain clean and safe work environmentPractice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and proceduresPossess or attain licenses required by their respective municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipmentKnead to Know: Preferred Qualifications1+ years of experience as a technician in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related fieldAdditional Ingredients: Essential Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent, Technical/Trade School certification or diploma a plusSalary Range- $30.77 per hourWe offer a competitive salary and an excellent total rewards package.
