As a Security Officer Screening Evaluator in Kansas City, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location as a Screener, where you will help monitor entry points, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $21.71 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen visitors, employees, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to post instructions.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions that may require attention in fast-paced tech and communications environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
