Position Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to join our professional team. In addition to a competitive base salary, this role includes a performance-based commission plan with substantial earning potential, including the opportunity to earn commissions comparable to base salary based on results. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise cost estimates for HVAC projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and technical documents. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong industry knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and requirements

• Prepare accurate estimates based upon material and equipment take-offs

• Obtaining vendor and subcontractor quotes

• Review of subcontractor bids to ensure their scope of work is covered

• Prepare and generate proposals for submission

• Identify labor, material, and equipment needs for each project

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to ensure bids are complete and cost-effective

• Maintain current knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, and market pricing

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC Commercial estimating experience

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents

• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines
