Full Charge Bookkeeper

Beacon Hill is supporting a growing engineering firm in South Jersey looking to hire a Full Charge Bookkeeper on a contract-to-hire basis to support day-to-day accounting operations. This is a fully onsite role with a stable and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping (AP, AR, general ledger)
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
• Process invoices and track incoming payments
• Assist with project-based accounting and cost tracking
• Support billing and work in progress (WIP) reporting
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Background in engineering, consulting, or project-based environment preferred
• Experience with project accounting, WIP, or billing support is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite
