Production Operator

Our client, in McCook NE , a leader in the manufacturing industry , are seeking Production Helpers to join their team. You will be part of the Production Department , supporting Mixing Operations or Finishing or Material handling . The ideal candidate will have attention to detail , strong communication skills , and a commitment to safety , which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Production Helper
Location: McCook NE
Pay Range: $17.27 to $18.52/hr with Shift Deferential of $1.25/hr
What's the job?
- Weigh gram bags for compound batches with accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist in producing rubber compounds for hose extrusion
- Operate equipment such as mixers, mills, or compound machinery (based on assigned area)
- Unload bulk raw materials from tanks, railcars, and trucks
- Perform forklift operations as needed to support material flow
What's Needed?
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving ability
- Good math, reading, and writing skills with strong retention abilities
- Basic computer skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
