Brake Press Operator We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team in Kent, OH. This role involves setting up and operating brake press machines to produce accurate parts according to specifications. Responsibilities Set up brake press machines with the correct materials, tools, and dies. Adjust machine settings to meet required specs and tolerances. Run CNC and/or manual brake press machines, including making or editing programs as needed. Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to produce accurate parts. Check production using measuring tools like calipers and gauges. Ensure all parts meet quality standards and requirements. Move finished parts safely using cranes, hoists, or other lifting equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all safety rules and procedures. Essential Skills Experience operating brake press equipment preferred. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Strong shop math skills. Experience using precision measuring tools. Ability to operate lifts or cranes (or willingness to learn). Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Prior manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
