Sales Account Manager - Utilities

Experience: Mid Level Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 per year We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in the Power Transmission industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying and securing new business opportunities. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the utilities industry understanding their needs and ensuring they are met. Identify and secure new business opportunities, increasing the company’s client base. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for achieving sales targets. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts. Coordinate with other departments to ensure client needs are met effectively and efficiently. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. Represent the company at industry events and trade shows. Handle client issues and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring their satisfaction. Regularly report on account status to senior management. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in Account Management, with a focus on Outside Sales. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Comprehensive knowledge of the Construction industry. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Ability to identify and secure new business opportunities. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle client issues and concerns effectively. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as any relevant sales software. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Must be willing to travel as needed.
